The Walker Art Center is pleased to announce the publication of a limited edition by acclaimed Swedish artist Nathalie Djurberg, whose provocative films and sculptures mine the sometimes disturbing connections between human psychology and animal behavior. This variant edition—each object is unique—commemorates the Walker exhibition The Parade: Nathalie Djurberg with Music by Hans Berg, the artist’s first major installation in the United States. The project derives from Djurberg’s continued interest in the social life of birds and consists of 20 fantastical species fashioned from modest materials such as clay and painted canvas. This piece is the artist’s first editioned sculpture.
