A deck of unique playing cards from The Novel That Writes Itself

With vivid Day-Glo colors and eye-catching messages promoting concerts, swap meets, and other events, posters produced by the Colby Poster Printing Company of Los Angeles were intended for quick consumption - a “public address system” of sorts. For more than 30 years, American Artist Allen Ruppersberg has used the format to create artworks celebrating the poetry of the everyday.
