Collection: Artist Publishers: Fugitive Materials

Fugitive Materials is committed to the preservation of radical, lesser-known, and alternative histories and to the disruption of informational privilege through publishing, bookselling, and archiving. Fugitive Materials specializes in the material cultures of resistance: the detritus of radical social movements, histories of labor, counterculture, pedagogy, urbanism, uprisings, and art. They place archives with libraries, universities, and museums and sell rare books, artifacts, and ephemera from 20th-century cultural movements so that they may be available to future generations of scholars, organizers, and readers. Fugitive Materials also publishes books and zines, often prompted by discovering rare or unique radical ephemera.
