Collection: Designers: Evan Fay

Evan Fay is an American-born furniture designer, maker, and educator currently working and living in Detroit, MI. His work focuses on intuitive building systems and spontaneous forms within the realm of functional objects that express an evident nature of craft and structure. In 2014, Fay received a BFA in furniture design from Kendall College of Art and Design and an MFA in 2016 studying 3D design from Cranbrook Academy of Art.

Fays work has been exhibited internationally in the US with Galerie Philia (Paris, Singapore, Brussels, and NYC) and Salone Gallery (Boston). Other notable exhibitions include Collective (NYC), Salone Satellite (Milan), Talente (Munich), Collectible (Brussels), Cranbrook Art Museum (Bloomfield Hills), Wasserman Projects (Detroit), Architectural Digest Show (NYC), and Interior Design Show (Toronto). Fay’s Lawless series has been featured in printed publications such as Interni, Dwell, Azur, Interior Design, Alive, Architectural Digest, and Living, among others.
