Little Sun Diamond by Olafur Eliasson

Little Sun Diamond is a solar-powered LED lamp developed by artist Olafur Eliasson and engineer Frederik Ottesen as part of their project to bring sustainable, accessible light to the world. It can be used as a desk lamp or wearable torch, and can be attached to your bag to charge throughout the day. Five hours of sunlight provides five hours of bright light, which fades to a long-lasting soft glow.
Comes with stand, lanyard, and a story booklet featuring a sketch by Olafur Eliasson.
Battery lifespan of five years when used daily. To charge, place the Little Sun Diamond in the sun with its solar panel up. Press the button once to turn on and again to turn off. To detach the stand, carefully pull it from the holes on either side, one side at a time.
By purchasing a Little Sun Diamond solar-powered lamp you help to make it available for a lower price to people who do not have consistent and affordable access to electricity.
Shipping
You have three shipping options at checkout:
- Best Way: Your order will ship within two business days via UPS or USPS priority or first class, depending on the size and weight of your package.
- 2-Day Express: Your order will ship the following business day via FedEx or UPS 2-Day Express.
- In-store Pickup: Add items to your cart and proceed to checkout – there, select Local Pickup in Shipping Options. Once your order is ready to be picked up, you will be notified by email.
Once all of your items are ready for pickup and you've received your Ready for Pickup notification (remember: don't come to the store unless you've received this).
To collect your in-store pickup order once you have received the "Ready for Pickup" notification, please come to the Shop (located in the main lobby off Vineland Place) during the Walker Art Center's open hours. We are currently unable to do curbside pickup.
Shipping rates depend on the selected shipping speed and weight/size of the items. Please allow several days for your order to be processed and shipped.
International Shipping
Walker Shop only ships items within the Continental United States at this time. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
